    What amenities are there in a preferred room at the Carribean Beach Resort? Also, are taxis available from the resort?

    Hi Linda!

    We stayed at the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and my son was in heaven. We stayed in a Pirate Room and the details were amazing! The bed was shaped like a pirate ship, the curtain that separated the bathroom from the bedroom had a skull and crossbones and there were pirate pictures hanging in the room. The preferred rooms are all about location! The amenities in the room are the same, with  your choice of two queen beds or one king bed, and in both standard and preferred rooms you will get a coffee maker, mini fridge and free wi-fi. The preferred rooms are closer to the center of the resort, the Old Port Royale Food Court, the complimentary bus transportation area or the Fuentes del Morro Pool. 

    You can certainly take a taxi or an uber from Caribbean Beach if you desire. You can also take advantage of the complimentary Walt Disney World bus service. 

    Disney Moms Panel Tip: Don't miss the pirate shaped playground! Kids have a blast playing on this abandoned pirate ship! Ahoy matey!
