Hello me amd familly plan to visit Disney world, don't know to much about different parks but I had a question. I am a US citizen and my wife is a Dacca holder, she is legal to work and has texas i.d. would she need a passport or will her I D suffice?

    Howdy Jose!

I’m delighted to welcome you to planDisney! I’m even more thrilled to hEAR you and your wife are planning on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth together!

Jose, your wife does not need to have her passport in order to enter the theme parks. The only reason she may need to show a government-issued photo ID is if she plans on ordering an adult beverage to prove she is at least 21 years of age or older. I would just recommend she has a photo ID on her; however, no one will be checking her ID upon entry to the theme parks.

Now that we have that settled, let’s discuss the two things you two need to enter the theme parks:
    1. Theme Park Tickets
    2. Disney Park Pass reservation for the theme parks you’re visiting!

Before purchasing your tickets, be sure to check the Reservation Availability Calendar. Once you’ve checked that the Theme Parks are available during the dates you’d like to visit and have purchased your tickets, make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as you can. Park passes are subject to availability.

You also mentioned you didn’t know much about the different parks; allow me to help you a little bit with that!

Magic Kingdom Park: This is the quintessential Disney experience. It has the Cinderella Castle, which your Queen is sure to fall in love with! You can stroll hand-in-hand down Main Street, U.S.A., as you take in the castle views. You will also love the firework spectacular, Happily Ever After show which is absolutely magical! Here, you’ll find Character Cavalcades coming down, where you can wave hello to some of your favorite characters!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ll love Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! If you want to experience the popular attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, be sure to check out how to get a boarding group in the Virtual Queue, as it is the only way you are able to ride it. This theme park also has Toy Story Land and lots of awesome attractions!

EPCOT: After enjoying the stunning views on Soarin’ Around the World, you will love strolling around the World Showcase and enjoying the delicious food every country represented has to offer! You’ll also enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park: The must-do ride here is Avatar Flight of Passage! Then, take a guided tour on an African savanna to see some incredible animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris, enjoy a Broadway-style show, A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King, and so much more!

Jose, I hope you and your wife have an enchanting time together!
