Hi Amanda, We will be staying at CS from Sept 10-18/2011. I read on here that at AKL they have a program to view the animals with night vision goggles. If we are staying at a different resort are we allowed to participate in this program? thanks

Hi Debra! Your Disney vacation will be here before you know it! You do not have to be a guest of the Animal Kingdom Lodge to participate in the Night Vision Animal Viewing there. Anyone can participate. If you're having dinner at Boma, Jiko, or Sanaa, or if you just want to explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge one evening, head out to the savanna viewing areas to see the animals. During my last stay at the Lodge, guides at the Uzima Overlook and Kidani Rock were standing by with night vision goggles so you could spot the animals from sundown to 9:30 p.m.. The guides are chock-full of interesting information and animal facts, so definitely spend some time talking with them!

Thanks so much for visiting me at the Moms Panel! If you have more questions before your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm happy to help!
