    hi amanda i loved your mom panel i was so inspired by you and would like to ask you what would be the best package for my husband, son and myself who has been to disney, want to make this vacation for my son who is also 10 yrs old a great vacation.

    How exciting to be planning a family trip to Walt Disney World! Click here for a wealth of information from my fellow Moms on starting to plan your trip. The best package for you depends on the length of your trip, the date of your travel, and the special offers for which you may qualify. I recommend that you start by checking the Special Offers page on the Disney World website and www.mousesavers.com to see if there are discounted room rates or packages available during the time you'd like to visit. Sometimes I find the best deal by booking a room with park tickets and the dining plan; other times I've found I save money by purchasing my park tickets separately and paying for meals out-of pocket. 

    Browse the various Disney resorts to see which ones appeal to your family most. My 10-year-old son really enjoys the giant water slide at the Yacht & Beach Club resorts and the ability to view exotic animals at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If deluxe resorts aren't in your budget, your son might like the Pop Century or All Star Sports resorts.

    My son says yours shouldn't miss these rides: Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, Dinosaur and the Kilimanjaro Safari in Animal Kingdom, Test Track in Epcot, and the Rock-n-Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. Your son is also at the perfect age to enjoy a trip to DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney!
