Amanda A, I'm a foodie. At Epcot, Garden Grill or Teppan edo (or other recommendation) for DS4 and DD2.5? We are already doing lots of Character dining including Akershus, but will go to Garden grill if kids will LOVE it. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Julie! I'm a foodie too! (I spend way too much time watching the Food Network and not enough time cooking, though!) Personally, the menu at Teppan Edo has always appealed to me and my family more than the menu at Garden Grill. Since you're already doing lots of character meals, I'd recommend that you try Teppan Edo. The hibachi chefs there are really entertaining so your little ones will be occupied, and the food is really tasty.

Another Epcot restaurant that your family might like is Chefs de France. Since you're a foodie, you'd enjoy the gourmet French food, and if you schedule a lunch or late afternoon meal, your kids might be treated to a surprise visit from Remy, the rat from Ratatouille.  My kids were so shocked and delighted when the server wheeled a cart up to our table and lifted a silver dome to reveal the audio-animatronic rat, who talked with and danced for us. An appearance by Remy is not guaranteed, but he generally makes the rounds of the restaurant Monday through Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 and 5:20 p.m. Book a table about 45 minutes before an appearance time to have the best chance of seeing Remy.

Julie, please visit me again with more questions -- I'm always happy to help you!
