Hi Amanda, from Illinois I would love to know tips on increasing disney dollars on my chase visa. I would like to try and save to do something regarding travel to CARS 2 in 2011 One of my bff's lives in Chapel Hill.

Hi Kim! How fun that one of your best friends lives so close to me! I'm a Tarheel and lived in Chapel Hill for many years -- it's a a great town, so I hope you get to visit her there often! Of course, there's no better place to visit than Disney, and like you, I love racking up rewards dollars on my Disney Visa to help offset the cost of my Disney trips. For every $100 of purchases on your Disney Visa, you earn 1 reward dollar, which you can use to pay for resort rooms, park tickets, dining, products and more. Many people maximize their reward dollars by charging all of their monthly purchases on their Disney Visa. In addition to using the card to pay for everyday expenses such as gas, groceries and shopping, you can use it to pay your monthly bills for your cell phone service, your cable television, car insurance, and homeowners' insurance. Of course, if you're using your Disney Visa for all of your monthly spending, it's crucial to transfer money from your bank account every few weeks to pay off the card in full -- if you start to carry a balance, the high interest rate will cost you more than the reward dollars you've earned.

The Disney Visa frequently offers bonus dollars, such as the opportunity to earn 3 or 5 times the rewards for purchases at grocery stores or gas stations. You'll usually learn of one of those offers by receiving a notice via mail or email and you have to sign up to be eligible for the bonus rewards.
If you're like me and tend to throw out a lot of mail without looking at it, you can call the number on the back of your Visa card to see if you're eligible for any bonus offers. Also the Disney Visa is offering $25 Disney Dollars for each friend or family member you convince to sign up for and use the card.

Hope you earn lots toward a magical vacation!
