Hi Amanda! Fellow Carolina Girl with a ?. Staying at Widerness Lodge with breakfast ADR at Cape May Cafe 8:45 on Epcot day. Can I ferry over to MK and take bus to Beach Club? Or should I bus to Hollywood Studios and ferry to Beach Club? Which trip shorter?

Hi Adrienne! Nice to hear from another Tarheel!

The Cape May Cafe is a good choice for breakfast -- it's a tasty buffet that's often uncrowded, which gives you lots of relaxed interaction with the characters!  To travel between resorts using the Disney bus system, it's a good rule of thumb to plan to leave your room about an hour before your reservation. Either of the routes you mentioned will get you to the Beach Club within that time, but I think taking the boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom and then transferring to a Beach Club bus would be the quicker of those two options. (Your total trip time would run about 45 minutes.)

In addition to the boats, the Wilderness Lodge also has buses running to the Magic Kingdom. Although the bus is not as much fun to ride as the boat, it likely would deliver you to the Magic Kingdom even faster and would drop you off closer to the Beach Club bus stop than the boat would.  Taking the bus instead of the boat could shave another ten minutes off your travel time.

Hope you have a great vacation! (I just stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last month and really enjoyed the convenient location!) Feel free to visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
