Hi Cassandra! Thanks so much for your kind words! There is so much to do and see at Walt Disney World that planning a trip can feel a little overwhelming, but don't worry, we're here to help you!
Start by deciding when in 2011 you'd like to visit Disney. If possible, I recommend you avoid visiting in peak times like the summer and holidays, as the parks are much more crowded then. If you visit in the fall, winter or spring (avoiding Easter), you'll find that the crowds and the room rates are lower. Speaking of rates, I recommend that you register on the Walt Disney World website, and make sure that Disney has your email and mailing address; you might find an offer for a discounted package or room rate in your mailbox! Keep an eye on the
Special Offers page so that if any deals are announced, you'll be sure to know about them.
Disney has hotels for every price range, and resort guests receive special perks for staying on-site, such as extra hours in the parks and free transportation from the airport and around WDW. You can browse the various hotels
here to find a theme and a price range that fits your family.
When you book your resort, you can choose to purchase a package that includes park tickets and a dining plan. Once you've booked your resort, the really fun part begins -- planning your dining! You can browse the various Disney restaurants
here, and make reservations for your meals online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Be sure to book a meal with the characters!
I'm happy to help you with each step in your planning, so feel free to ask me any questions along the way!
