Hi Amanda A., On park days I was hoping to have 8am brkfst in park before 9am opening. DD2.5 and DS4 are usually awake around 6am. We will do naps mid-day, and rest day every 3 days. Are early brkfst ADRs realistic or will we will be too tired??

Hi again Julie! On Walt Disney World vacations with young kids, early to bed and early to rise is definitely wise! Fueling up with a good breakfast and then hitting the parks as soon as they open is the best way to ensure that your family can experience lots of attractions with minimal waiting.

My family doesn't like standing in lines and although we're not normally early risers, we've found that setting the alarm on our Disney vacations so that we can get to the parks first thing in the morning is the best way to avoid long waits for the attractions. Since most guests don't arrive at the parks until later in the morning, guests who are at the parks when they open can often practically walk on the rides without waiting. Since your little ones naturally wake up early anyway, definitely schedule pre-opening character meals in the parks so you'll be ready to hit the attractions as the soon as the parks open. You'll be amazed at how much you'll be able to experience by lunchtime. When the parks start to get more crowded in the early afternoon, return to your resort for a nap and a swim. You can always head back to the parks in the evenings if you get a second wind, but you'll be able to experience so much by arriving early in the morning that you won't need to stay in the parks late at night.

Come visit me again here at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help!
