Hi Amanda, Just answered my question about the beach club during the 4th of July week. It's just my husband and I, so what do you think of us staying at the Boardwalk Inn? Do you think the pool will be a bit calmer then beach club?

Hi Samantha! Thanks for coming back to visit me here at the Moms Panel! The Boardwalk Inn has lots of fun nightlife for adults, so it is a great resort for a couple's vacation.

The week of Independence Day is traditionally a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World and since July can be quite hot, I think you're going to find that the pools at all the resorts will be pretty busy. On one of my trips to the Beach Club, the Stormalong Bay slide was closed for refurbishment so we were allowed to use the Boardwalk pool in addition to Stormalong Bay. As my family went between the two pools during that vacation, I did find that the Boardwalk pool was much quieter and less busy than the Beach Club one, but it's hard to know if your experience in July would be similar. The great thing about the Beach Club pool is that there are lots of chairs and different areas so even when it's busy you can find a spot to sit and soak up the sun, and if you're worried about Stormalong Bay being too hectic, you always have the option of the quiet pool as well. You really can't go wrong with either the Boardwalk or the Beach Club!

I'd love to help you with additional questions; just ask! Wishing you a magical vacation!
