Hi Amanda A. Our AK day will go like this: TH (b), AK, FT bbq (l), nap at poly, & back to AK until 6pm. Where should we eat dinner with DS4 & DD2.5: Boma or Jiko? Kids r generally good at restos but don't want to feel like we're intruding on date

Hi Julie! One of the reasons I love Walt Disney World is that even the fanciest restaurants are child-friendly. When my kids were young, I loved that at Disney I could dine at upscale, gourmet restaurants that provided crayons and children's menus for my kids. You shouldn't hesitate to dine at Jiko with your children. While Jiko is a great date-night restaurant, it's also kid-friendly. The first timed I dined at Jiko, I was in an adult-only party and we were seated in a quiet section of the restaurant with other adults. The next time I visited with my children, and we were seated in the main room, which was bustling and full of children. You won't feel out of place at Jiko with your kids, and as a fellow foodie, I know you would love the delicious cuisine there!

Boma has lots of tasty and unique items on its buffet, but since you're dining at Tusker House earlier that day, you may not want to eat at a second buffet with similar African-inspired cuisine on the same day. Also, after a long day in the parks, I think you'd appreciate the doting table service you'll have at Jiko as opposed to running back and forth to the buffet at Boma filling your kids' plates.

Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help!
