Amanda, Hi again! I just booked the Fantasmic dinner pkg with 2pm ADR at MM-9/25. I wanted to do dinner, not lunch. Is having this booked worth it to see Fantasmic, even if I'm not happy with dining time? Will seating run out if we don't do it? Thanks!

Hi Ashley! It's nice to hear from you again! The Fantasmic Dining Package helps to cut your wait time for the popular show at Hollywood Studios. When you dine at one of the three participating restaurants (Mama Melrose's, The Hollywood Brown Derby or Hollywood & Vine), you receive a VIP voucher for seating in a special section of the Fantasmic theater. You still have to arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes before Fantasmic, and one downside of the package is that the dinner times can be quite early in the afternoon. (Lunch packages are also sometimes offered.) If you don't want to eat that early, you can certainly still see Fantasmic; you'll just need to plan to line up and enter the theater at least an hour before the show to make sure you get a seat. Seating does sometimes run out; the last time I went to see Fantasmic, it was "standing room only" about 45 minutes before the performance started. Guests who utilize the Fantasmic Dining Package have the benefit of not having to line up quite so early, but some people feel that the section reserved for the Dining Package guests isn't the best view in the theater. If you don't mind lining up a little earlier for Fantasmic, you can have a later dinner and perhaps a better seat at Fantasmic.

Hope this helps! Come see me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
