I've always wanted to stay in the Contemporary because the monorail runs right through it and it seems the closest to Magic Kingdom, but is it too noisy? What are the pros and cons of staying at this resort?

Disney's Contemporary Resort is an excellent resort with many benefits! It is within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, so this is a huge bonus for those who visit Magic Kingdom frequently during their visit. You can also take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. You can take the monorail to Epcot as well, with only one quick stop to transfer.

There are also many wonderful dining options at this resort, including Chef Mickey's, which is the only restaurant in Disney to offer dining with all Fab Five at once - Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. California Grill is the iconic fine dining experience in which you can view Wishes from atop of the Contemporary Resort. There is a balcony at the restaurant and they even pipe in the music from Wishes in the restaurant and on the balcony for guests to enjoy the show.

The Wave is also a great restaurant in which you can experience healthy, organic and locally grown ingredients in the fabulous dishes.

The rooms at the Contemporary are also modern and beautifully decorated.

The best benefit of staying at The Contemporary is the convenience to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as the fabulous dining options. The noise level isn't bad, but the only downside to this resort compared to the other Deluxe Resorts is that the themeing isn't as elaborate as the Victorian Grand Floridian and tropical paradise of Polynesian. If you are looking for convenience and have young children, this is a great resort for you!
