We have always traveled to Disney World in August. We are planning on visiting again in 2013 and I wondered if September or October would be better and if so...which one? Is there a "value season" when booking at the hotels?

    Hi Kendra!

My absolute favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World is September. In September, because many schools start around Labor Day, the crowds are low. The weather is also beautiful, not too hot, but still warm enough to enjoy the pools. This is also value season, so the rates are great. Beginning in mid-September, you can enjoy Mickey's-Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party! This is my favorite Walt Disney World special event! I love the "Boo to You" Parade and Trick-or-Treating with the characters.

October is also a great time of year to visit, but it is a bit more crowded because many families have settled their kids in school and take advantage of the long weekend around Columbus Day to visit the most magical place on earth.

No matter when you visit, I know you will have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
