Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teya!
Dining at Walt Disney World is one of the best parts of exploring the parks. I love trying new restaurants each time we visit, and have found some definite favorites! Plus, character dining is always magical. You're never too old to have a meal with your favorite Disney friends! I remember the magical experiences we had when my kids were tiny and their eyes just lit up when their favorite characters came to our table. My son, at age two, was simply enamored with Ariel when we ate at
Cinderella's Royal Table. He couldn't stop smiling at her, so she popped back to visit us multiple times! My daughter would feel like royalty herself whenever we made dining reservations with the princesses. Even now, that they're tweens, they wouldn't turn down a
character dining experience! Neither would I!
If you make reservations for dining at a restaurant that is inside one of the Disney Parks, you will need a valid theme park ticket for admission that day. If you're only purchasing a one day ticket during your trip, and you have already used it, you will not be able to return for dining inside a park on a different day. That being said, there are so many amazing restaurants all around the Walt Disney World Resort, many in the resorts themselves or at
Disney Springs, so dining in the parks isn't the only option. Perhaps you can choose a fun meal at one of the resorts on the day you're not using a park ticket.
Have fun planning this exciting trip, Teya! And enjoy a delicious meal!
