I am already trying to plan a family vacation for September of 2014 or February of 2015. First off any suggestions whether to go in the Fall or Winter? Secondly we would like to stay on the monorail system, with a 2 and 5 yr old. Which would you suggest

I would recommend you opt for September over February. The crowd levels are better (lower), the weather is more summer-ish (though rainy at the start of the month), and I just feel like it has a better vacation vibe!

As for monorail resorts, I would say that my preferences with two girls is the Grand Floridian, with the Polynesian coming in at a close second. I might lean to the Polynesian, if I had boys, but that is just a guess on my part. Either way, I think that both trump the Contemporary in kid-friendliness.

I have been going with my girls (now 5 and 7) for several years now, so if you have any follow-up questions, please don't hesitate to send them my way!

    Have a magical vacation!
