Hi Abbie!
I love to see a question from a fellow Carolinian! I was born and raised in the Carolinas and one of my favorite things about living here is how close we are to
Walt Disney World! We are only a short car ride or flight away from the most magical place on earth!
I am also super excited to visit Walt Disney World in October! I can't wait for
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which is returning for the 2022 Halloween season! While you
cannot modify your Walt Disney World theme pass ticket to a special event ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I wanted to share a few options.
It's important to note that if you want to visit
Disney's Magic Kingdom earlier in the day, prior to the start of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you will need a
valid theme park admission ticket and a
theme park reservation. You can certainly keep your existing theme park ticket, which will allow you to visit Magic Kingdom during the day, and then purchase a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket for that evening.
If you would prefer to visit a different park during the day and then hop over to Magic Kingdom for the Halloween Party, simply change your theme park reservation to one of the other theme parks, and then purchase a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket for that evening.
If your theme park tickets were part of an existing package (with your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and Tickets combined) you can cancel up to 30-days prior to your vacation. If that is the case, you can cancel the entire package, then rebook your
resort hotel with the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets.
However, if you purchased your theme park tickets as standalone, a refund is likely not possible nor is a transfer to a special event ticket, but you can change the date to a later time. Therefore, you could purchase a ticket to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and then use your theme park ticket on a different date.
I hope that this helps!
Magically,
Stacy
