Hi Morgan,
How exciting to hear that another fellow Mouseketeer is hoping to join you for some magic and fun during your
spring getaway to Walt Disney World Resort!
While it's
possible that your friend could
purchase her theme park ticket once she arrives, I would not recommend going that route. Because each Guest not only needs a valid ticket but also a
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter a theme park, I'd make your plans as soon as you know she'll be able to join you. I just checked the
availability calendar, and reservation availability in May is already a bit spotty. If the date you're wanting to visit Magic Kingdom Park is available and she's already planning to join you, I'd recommend
purchasing the ticket online, and as soon as her ticket is
linked to her My Disney Experience account, I'd make that extra Disney Park Pass reservation. If she's really hoping to join you, but there's not currently any reservation availability, I'd keep a close eye on it; Guests' plans do change, and I've had friends who were able to find availability that at one point was not there. I'm sending pixie dust that your plans will work out perfectly, and you'll all be able to create memories together to cherish for years to come.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Morgan, and please come back and see us again with any other questions you may have as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical vacation next month!
