I have already purchased and paid in full for meal plans. We are now second guessing our selection. Can we change plans or cancel meals plans after they have been paid in full. If cancelled will be get a complete refund for cost of plan we paid for?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey! Oh my Disney...I see you have a trip quickly approaching during The Most Magical Time of the yEAR. How exciting!

The Disney Dining Plan is a convenient way for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels to prepay for their meals. Many guests find that they can save money by adding the Dining Plan to their resort reservation, but it is smart to crunch the numbers beforehand. Some guests, like myself, decide that discounts received from being an Annual Passholder or Tables in Wonderland memberships are more cost-effective, so it really depends on your individual situation and dining style.

For Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Package bookings, you may change or cancel up to 30 days prior to arrival without penalty. Changes made within 30 days of arrival may incur a $50 change fee per package. Changes made within 14 days of arrival may incur an additional $15 processing fee. Since you are within the 30-day window, I'd suggest giving Disney Dining a call at (407) 939- DINE (3463) to see what options are available to you.

Whatever you decide to do, know that Walt Disney World Resort is home to over 100 delicious restaurants with a variety of choices. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance for many table-service restaurants… but there is also a magical variety of quick-service dining and snack locations to choose from! Some of my favorite spots, such as Geyser Point Bar & Grill and Satu'li Canteen, require no advance reservations. If you need any additional advice regarding restaurants, remember we're all EARs!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Stacey! Check out the Disney Parks Blog for some great tips about the holidays from my Moms Panel friends. See ya' real soon!
