We already purchased Magic Bands mainly for the Memory Maker and our park tickets because our plan was to stay off resort. I have changed up our plans and want to book a resort room. I don’t want to have duplicate bands.what should I do?

    Dear Trisha,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

If you do decide to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can absolutely decline the MagicBands that come with the room if you choose. In My Disney Experience, under MagicBands and Cards, you will see that option to decline.

If you decide that you would like to return your current MagicBands and choose the MagicBands that come with your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, then you can customize your MagicBands there in My Disney Experience and use those.

A third option is that you can have more than one active MagicBand at a time, so if you want to retain both and use both, that would be fine too!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
