    Hello, we already have purchased our Disney tickets and made reservations online. I just discovered that Disney bands are still a thing and want to purchase them. Can I transfer my cards to bands? We are not staying in a Resort. Thanks, Holly

    Welcome to planDisney, Holly! I see that you’re busy planning a Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to love seeing the Resort all dressed up for the Holiday season! 

    Purchasing MagicBands is a breeze on shopDisney. They would actually make an awesome stocking stuffer for Christmas, for the family and friends you are vacationing with! You can use a band or an admission card to enter the parks. Once you purchase your band, you can link it to your account in 1,2,3! Follow the instructions on this webpage to link your bands to your My Disney Experience account. Then link the band to a person/ticket, so when that person enters the park by tapping their band to a sensor at the park entrance, it picks up the ticket linked to it. 

    Holly, you don’t need to stay onsite to enjoy the theme parks or the amazing Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs. I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the months leading to your trip, to find out about all the activities and experiences you can enjoy during your December visit!
