Hi! I have already purchased the 4 day tickets for my upcoming trip in October but wanted to know how much more would it cost to add Park Hopper to these tickets I have already purchased. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide!

    Lilliam,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

The good news is that you can adjust your tickets to add the Park Hopper option, and all you really will do is pay the difference. You can do that all via your My Disney Experience App.

Now what will that cost? That is not as easy to answer, as ticket packages can vary, both by program and by the dates you select. I have a two-step recommendation for you.

Step 1: Get an estimate. If you go to the website and simply price out the cost of the tickets you have already, based on the dates, and then price out the same for a hopper alternative, you will know roughly what the added cost would be. I cannot express strongly enough that your actual added cost could be different, but I went in and tried this out for some dates in October, and the pre-tax increase was a little more than $110 for an adult.

Step 2: Make the purchase. While I love doing most things from the My Disney Experience account on a PC, you need to use the My Disney Experience App to make this kind of upgrade unless you want to go to a ticket window when you arrive and do it then. But why waste valuable park time, if can avoid it? So how do you do it? Here are the steps on the app to follow.

From the app home page, click on the 'hamburger' icon in the lower right of the screen. That icon that looks like a hamburger is three horizontal bars. From the next page, click on "Tickets and Passes", and then find your tickets. When you are there, if changes are available, click on "Change Tickets" and you should be able to make the addition.

    HOPPING TIP
One condition of park hopping is that the park you hop to has to have room for more people. I have never had a problem with this, but just in case, how will you know if that next park has available space? When getting ready to park hop, just call (407) 560-5000. That is the Park Hopping Hotline (or at least that is what I call it!), and it will tell you the status of all the parks, and if the park you want to hop to has space.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
