We're already planning on booking a second cruise with my sister. I looked at the concierge rooms but it seems to only hold 7 people. We'd be 8 with both families. is the only way to book 2 rooms?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shani!
How exciting that you are planning your next high seas adventure and expanding your pirate crew to include your sister and her family!  My little ones LOVE sailing with our extended family.  Who doesn't love to share the magic with those we love?

The maximum capacity for the largest staterooms offered by Disney Cruise Line is seven guests in the Concierge Two-Bedroom Suites with Verandah.  If traveling with eight buccaneers, you will need two staterooms.  Disney Cruise Line offers many adjoining staterooms to accommodate larger pirate crews.  When booking your reservation, look for connecting staterooms on the deck plans.

Connecting staterooms have doors within the room that can be opened to allow your family to move between the two spaces without going back into the hall and using your Key to the World Card.  This gives you flexibility to share the rooms between both your swash buckling families, but also some privacy if anyone gets a little salty.  You can also request prior to your cruise (or mention it to your Stateroom Host when you arrive onboard), to have the partition on your Verandah removed.  This way you can move between the two cabins on the Verandah and enjoy the larger outdoor space together.

Once you book your sailing, be sure to contact Disney Cruise Line to link your two stateroom reservations and request your entire treasure hunting gang be seated together for some grub.  There are so many memories to be made during Rotational Dining each evening for dinner so be sure to bring your camera to capture it all!

    Bon voyage!  Angie
