    Already have older magicbands, do I need to upgrade to magicband+ for upcoming disney cruise and a trip to disney world later this year?

    Welcome to planDisney, William! Thanks for dropping in with your question about MagicBands!

    You can absolutely use your bands over again and will not need to purchase a new one for your upcoming visit. As long as a valid theme park ticket is linked to your MagicBand, you will be able to use it to enter the theme parks, open your Disney Resort Collection hotel room and make purchases with a tap on a sensor and a pin number. 

    Before your visit, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It's a great place to keep tabs on all the new happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line!
