If you are already in the Magic Kingdom, will you still need to show your ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas?

Hi, Cheryl! Yes, you will need to have your party ticket scanned to get your wristband.  The wristband designates Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Guests.  Cast Members will set up a couple of locations with clear signage for Guests already inside the park to get their party wristbands.  They will scan your party tickets and place your wristband on just like at the front gates.  They usually set up in the late afternoon, and if you go when you first spot them, there is generally no wait.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
