Ahoy there, Lynn!
I'm glad you stopped by planDisney with your question; welcome!
Booking
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation from Orlando International Airport (MCO) is a smart plan. It makes the start of your vacation smooth sailing! Be sure to follow the instructions you will receive about when to place your
luggage tags on your baggage and where to proceed for check-in and pick-up for a seamless trip.
You will be happy to know that Guests utilizing Disney Cruise Line ground transfers do not need to select a Port Arrival Time during the
online check-in process; one will be assigned for you. Keep in mind that this does not guarantee an early port arrival. Your arrival time is based on factors such as how many Guests purchased ground transportation, how many stops the shuttle must make, and of course, traffic. Nevertheless, it does make the embarkation day process straightforward and easy!
Remember to pack all your boarding documents, including
Government-issued ID and Online Check-in Port Arrival Form, in your carry-on bag. I like to add some sunscreen, a water bottle, and my
DisneyBand+ in my bag, too. Once you board the ship, I love enjoying a sit-down lunch in one of the
Rotational Dining venues and then spending the afternoon exploring the ship and celebrating at the
sail-away deck party. Just thinking about it has me ready to book my next cruise!
I hope this information is helpful, Lynn. Sail by any time with other questions; we are happy to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
