I have already made dining reservations for our trip 4-18 thru 4-25 for a party of 4. Now have a party of 5 and everything is booked up. How lenient will the restaurants be if we show up with 5 people instead of 4??My 3yr old son can sit on my lap if nec

Hi, Sherry!  I know how frustrating this can be!  We have had it happen several times that we got all ready to go to our dining reservation, only to have my in-laws decide to join us or my teenage daughter, who had decided not to go, has now decided to join us.

I have never been turned away for having one person too many, although I imagine if it is an incredibly busy time and there is just no way for them to accommodate the extra person, they would have to ask you to reschedule your reservation.  On the few times we have done this, we have had to wait a few extra minutes - perhaps for a larger table to become available - but they have been gracious enough to accommodate us with the extra person.

I would take my chances if I were you.  Bring the extra person with you, and the worst they can do is tell you they aren't able to accommodate you.  The best that can happen is one more person gets to enjoy a fabulous Disney Dining experience!
