Howdy Mara!
Welcome to planDisney!
I always get so excited when a fellow Texan stops by with a question for us! And I’m even more thrilled you’ll be headed to Walt Disney World Resort with your family. I absolutely love it when my extended family joins us during our magical vacations, too. I feel overjoyed showing them around my favorite place in the world. Sometimes we separate so everyone can do what they’re interested in, and then we get together again to share our magical experiences over a
delicious meal! Be sure to connect with everyone through your
Friends and Family list in your
My Disney Experience account so you can all plan together!
I’m getting ahead of myself, Mara. You can absolutely change the date of your tickets to accommodate your family members who will be joining you at a later time. However, do be sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before you decide which days to change your tickets to and before your family members purchase their new tickets. You will all want to make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as you've set up the new dates and purchased the tickets. As you know,
Disney Park Pass reservations are required along with your tickets to enter the theme parks.
To change the dates of your theme park tickets, head to the
Walt Disney World website and hover over the My Disney Experience logo on the top right-hand side, and click on “My Plans.” Then, under “My Plans, Tickets, and Reservations,” you will want to select “Tickets and Memory Maker.” There will be a “Change Ticket” option that you will want to select when you find your tickets. You will be able to select different dates from here. Depending on if the ticket prices go up, you may have to pay a difference.
We can’t wait to welcome you all to the magic, Mara! Have an enchanting time.
Aena
