Hi Joseph,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm not sure who's getting the better gift in this scenario, you or your granddaughter, but congratulations - you're all going to
Walt Disney World Resort! Your little princess will love waving to her favorite characters in the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, returning March 9 to
Magic Kingdom park, and you will cherish the time spent walking hand in hand down Main Street, U.S.A., toward
Cinderella Castle.
All Guests ages three and older must have a
valid admission and
Park Pass reservation to enter the Walt Disney World
theme parks. This means your granddaughter is not guaranteed entry in a theme park without a Park Pass reservation, even if the rest of your party has one. The good news, Joseph, is that all four theme parks are currently showing availability for all days in March and April. I recommend you keep an eye on the
theme park availability calendar and purchase your granddaughter's park ticket as soon as you are able so you can secure the additional Park Pass reservation. This will give you some peace of mind as your Disney countdown continues.
I recently shared
my favorite recommendations for five-year-olds at each park with another Guest, which you may find helpful. I'd also recommend a
Memory Maker purchase, which includes digital downloads of photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks as well as attraction photos and Magic Shots. You save money by making this purchase at least three days in advance of your arrival date. Please return to planDisney with any additional questions about your upcoming vacation.
Let's go mountaineers!
