Hello there, Eleanor!
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney. You've got a friend in me and I'm ready to assist.
Disneyland Resort 1-day tickets are priced in a tiered structure, with 1-Day Tier 0 admission priced lowest and each tier increasing in price up to Tier 6. Your
1-Day Tier 0 ticket may be used on any date within that tier through the ticket's expiration, excluding blockout dates and subject to
theme park reservation availability. Similarly, higher-tiered tickets can be used within their same tier dates, or on lower-tier dates, also subject to blockout dates, expiration and theme park reservation availability.
The value of wholly unused, expired tickets can be applied to the purchase of new tickets as long as they are of equal or greater value. Since you're hoping to switch to a higher tier, you should be able to upgrade your 1-Day Tier 0 tickets to 1-Day Tier 3 tickets by
contacting a Cast Member with the Ticketing team by phone. You can also visit the main entrance ticket booth in person, but since you'll need to create a new theme park reservation for your new dates, I'd recommend upgrading before your arrival. When you call, Cast Members can assist in booking your resort reservations for
Pixar Place Hotel, but you are also welcome to book your stay online as this resort
officially begins welcoming guests on January 30.
My family loved the views of Disney California Adventure Park when we stayed there in its former Disney's Paradise Pier theme. I remember watching World of Color after a long travel day and practically jumping out of our pajamas with excitement. As huge Pixar fans, we are even more excited about the resort's new decor details and color schemes. I can't wait to stay there one day soon. It's sure to be a (Luxo) ball!
I hope this helped Eleanor. Please come back and see us again with more questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
