Hi Jami,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a beautiful resort that has so many amenities. It is one of the best moderate resorts at Walt Disney World because of the easy access to the
Disney Skyliner and a great themed pool that makes me feel like I am swimming in Pirates of the Caribbean!
Room requests are a great way to optimize your stay based on what is important to you. I always request to be close to the lobby or transportation so we don't have a far walk back after a long day at the theme parks. Remember when you are making room requests that these are requests only. Disney will do their best to accommodate you but nothing is guaranteed.
You have two options for making room requests. The first and easiest option is during
online check-in at your resort. This can be completed up to 60 days before your arrival so you have plenty of time to see if your requests are available. During the online check-in process, you will have a drop-down menu option that is pre-populated based on available room request options for the hotel you are staying at. "Near Lobby" and "Ground Floor" are commonly seen options when completing online check-in. If the request that you are looking for is not in the drop-down menu then you will need to
call Disney directly to have them add the request to your room reservation. For specific room locations like yours, you will most likely need to call for it to be added to your reservation.
You are more likely to get your room requests if you are flexible on your arrival time. If you arrive to find that your request was not able to be fulfilled, I recommend checking with the front desk to see if they have the option you are looking for available if you are willing to wait longer for a room. Sometimes this is an option but do not expect it. They may simply not be able to fulfill your request because they are fully booked.
Happy Planning
Jenna
