    are you aloud to fish the canals along the roads

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael! I’m excited to see that you have a plan in the works to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this coming October! Thanks for sending us your question.

    While fishing in canals along roadways at the Walt Disney World Resort is not allowed, there are plenty of opportunities to fish at the most magical place on earth.

    You can do some dockside, catch and release fishing, at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside. Fishing gear can be rented a few steps away from the dock at Fishin’ Hole at Ol’ Man Island. 

    Guided Fishing Excursions are available for guests of all ages. These excursions, that take you around the Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake, across Village Lake and Crescent Lake, are two to four hours long. They include an experienced guide, all the gear you will need and non-alcoholic beverages for you and your group to enjoy. You can reserve your experience by calling (407) 939-2277.
