Aloha, Heather! Thank you for coming to planDisney with your questions. And, Hau`oli Lā Hānau to your son!
Be sure to bring your Star Wars-loving little Jedi to visit Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. Here, you will find
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, where your padawan can pilot the famous “hunk of junk” from the original Star Wars series. You will find your family immersed in all things Star Wars here in Batuu.
Use the force and try to secure your boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance promptly at 7am on your Disneyland Park day. Also, say hi to my buddy DJ R-3X at
Oga’s Cantina while you sip a Fuzzy Tauntaun or a Hyperdrive (Punch It!) - my personal favorite. This is another place you will want to try and make a reservation in advance. If you are unsuccessful, be sure to stop by on the day of your visit to ask about a reservation.
For a truly special birthday experience, consider making a reservation at the
Droid Depot. Here, your youngling can craft his very own droid friend. He will carefully choose the pieces and assemble either a BB or an R2 unit. Or, visit the gatherers at
Savi’s Workshop and have your son build his very own light saber and learn the ways of the jedi. Both of these experiences are available for the dates you will be visiting in November.
I hope your visit to Disneyland is most magical and memorable. Please come back to planDisney if you have other planning questions.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
