Aloha Doug! Love the Panel & especially your planning advice. ? Visiting WDW May 2011 with Husband & our 2 boys, then 5 &3. We have 8 day MYW Base Tickets; how many days would you recommend at each park? 2 in each of the four parks, or 3 in MK?

    Alba,

With 8 days, and boys aged 5 and 3, I would recommend 3 days in the Magic Kingdom, 1 day in the Animal Kingdom, 1 day in Epcot, and 2 days in Hollywood Studios.

But that is only 7, not 8!

I would leave one of your last days (but not the ACTUAL) last day open. After the kids have had a day in all four of the parks, let them have a day where THEY get to choose which of the three 'other' parks they want another day in for their vacation. For us this plan really helps in making sure that we are doing what the family wants, not what the schedule dictates.

Now this means that day is more likely filled with counter service dining, not table service, but that is OK. A little spontaneity is a good thing, and it will let the boys feel like they are part of the vacation planning.

    I hope that this helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
