Hey, Howdy Hey, Michaela!
Welcome back to planDisney. I’m so happy you’ve found us and even more excited to help you prepare for your visit. Our oldest enjoyed his first visit just a few weeks before his second birthday. He too slept in a Pack ‘n Play brought down to our room at Pop Century. It was such a huge help and one less thing we had to pack.
If you are staying at a Deluxe Resort, you’ll likely find a portable crib waiting in the closet of your villa. Otherwise, you can
request a crib or playpen using your reservation by
calling or once you arrive at your resort. The typical measurement of the playpen beds is approximately 39.5 x 28.25 x 29 inches. I found that it was large enough for my little one to use, and fairly similar to the one we had at home. If you think that you may need a larger area for your Mouseketeer, my fellow panelist,
Amy, recommends completing a quick online search. She’s found that there are third-party services that offer crib rentals available for use during your visit.
Another option would be to bring his playpen from home and
rent a stroller there. You could even use the Disney Featured Provider, ScooterBug, and arrange for your stroller to be dropped off and picked up at your Disney Resort Hotel. It’s one less thing to worry about bringing with you and such a convenient option. We’ve recently graduated out of the stroller phase, but love this option. I recommend it to anyone I know traveling with little ones.
Speaking of little ones, know that Disney helps make traveling with your little ones as easy as can be. The
Baby Care Centers are so great for all families traveling with kids of all ages. There you can find just about anything and everything your little one may need. Like a quiet place, a feeding area, and restrooms. They even sell the necessities you may have forgotten at home. The Baby Care Centers truly have you covered! I remember nursing there while my husband helped our toddler use the restroom and take a snack break until I was finished. Plus, it was the perfect place to cool our family down for a bit before returning to the excitement.
Michaela, I hope this answers your question and helps you prepare for your visit. Hakuna Matata, we’ve been in your shoes and are always here to help!
Remember, you’ve got a friend in me.
