Hi there, Karissa!
It’s a delight to see you here today. Thanks for stopping by with a question for us today.
I am elated your trip is right around the corner! Nothing beats seeing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort through your child’s eyes, and I know you will have so much fun together!
Karissa, although it is possible you would be told your little Mouseketeer needs to wear a face covering, you don’t have to worry about bringing proof, as Mickey Mouse works on the honor system and Cast Members will be happy to take your word for it! During the
phased reopening, Disney has worked to make Guest and Cast Member safety a priority and because of this, there is no eating or drinking in the lines. During my family’s recent trip, I would give my Mouseketeers snacks before going into a queue. We also began our days as soon as the Parks opened and enjoyed some time at our
Disney Resorts Collection pool in the afternoon time to avoid the midday heat.
Since you’re coming with your little Mouseketeer, I’d like to tell you about some services Walt Disney World Resort offers that parents of little ones find helpful!
Rider Switch Service: If your kiddo cannot or does not want to experience a certain attraction, the Rider Switch Service is helpful because you’re not waiting twice as long for an attraction! This feature allows one adult to wait with the non-rider while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the riders return to their party, the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue. Head on over to the Cast Member at the attraction of your choice with your party so they can set up the service for you!
Baby Care Centers: There is one located in every Disney Park. The Baby Care Centers are quiet, peaceful, and clean. They provide areas for feedings and a small play area with a television for siblings to watch their favorite cartoons while they wait. They have convenient items for sale like baby wipes and the changing stations are wonderful and plentiful. I loved being able to have a cool place to go with my Mouseketeer and let them nap as I rocked them in the rocking chair.
I hope you have an enchanting time, Karissa!
Aena
