I have an almost 2 year old daughter-where are some good places to take her?

    Hi Jane,

One of the wonderful things about Disney World is there are so many fantastic things to do and see no matter what age you are. You and your daughter will both have a fantastic time enjoying the attractions, shows, parades, characters and more and you will be amazed at how easy it is to find things to entertain your young princess.

I personally think Magic Kingdom is the best place to visit in all of Disney World, but especially for young princes and princesses. Here you will find the largest selection of attractions that the family can enjoy together. Start at Fantasyland, home to It's a Small World, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Ariel's Grotto and Dumbo to name a few. Be sure to pencil in plenty if time for Mickey's Toontown. Here your daughter can explore Mickey and Minnie's houses, meet the big cheese himself, along with other Disney pals. You can also spend time with Tinkerbell and a few of her fairy friends at her Pixie Hollow hangout. If you need a break from the crowds and sun, sneak into the back room behind the Main Street camera shop next to Tony's Town Square Restaraunt. There is a great hidden gem of a small theater with continuous Mickey Mouse cartoons. Great spot for a relaxing rest for you and a quick nap for her.

Be sure to visit Hollywood Studios. Your princess can enjoy live stage shows of the beautiful Belle from Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Playhouse Disney has a fantastic live show throughout the day and you can even meet a number of the Playhouse pals while dining at Hollywood and Vine. My kids love exploring the Honey I shrunk the Kids playground and the Muppets in 3D show is a huge hit. Don't forget to take a spin or two on Toy Story Midway Mania.

Just remember to go her pace and allow for breaks and naps if needed. No matter what you see or accomplish, you will all be much happier if you do not try to do to much. Hope you have a wonderful time!
