Ahoy Allen!
Thanks for sailing by with your question. I bet you're getting excited about your upcoming cruise on
Disney Wish. My family will also be setting sail on this beautiful ship for the first time later this month and I know I'm practically bursting with excitement!
The
AquaMouse is one of my kid's top priorities once we're onboard, so I can understand wanting to plan ahead so you're ready to experience it for yourself. I reached out to a Cast Member to check if there were any restrictions on water shoes for this first-of-its-kind attraction at sea. They let me know that loose articles, such as sunglasses, cell phones, and cameras, are not permitted on the ride, but they weren't quite sure about water shoes. After a little digging, they uncovered some treasured intel and let me know that you
can wear water shoes as long as they fit securely and don't have any metal or buckles. Clothing with rivets, buckles, or exposed metal is also not permitted on the ride.
As you prepare for your sailing keep in mind that guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride, and at least 54 inches tall to ride solo. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by someone at least 14 years old, providing they meet the height requirements.
Disney Wish features more pools and deck space as compared to the other ships in the
Disney Cruise Line fleet. With
six pools of various depths to enjoy, be sure to take time to check them all out and find your favorite. My friend
Tracie loves the Chip ‘n’ Dale’s pool on Deck 14, so I plan to spend time quality there per her recommendation.
Please sail by and "sea" us again if you have more questions. We'd be happy to help.
Bon Voyage!
Amy
