Hi Chelsea,
Welcome to planDisney! Cozy, comfortable, and character-inspired are basically my wardrobe trifecta for everyday fashion. I love sporting my favorite Disney pals around town and of course, when visiting the parks, too!
As much as I'd love to visit Disneyland Resort dressed like Alice in Wonderland, costumes are not permitted for guests aged 14 or older outside of specialty ticketed events. Based on your description it doesn't
sound like your looks would be confused for a character costume, but the final say will be up to Security Cast Members' discretion at the park entrance. You'll definitely want to ensure your attire adheres to
dress code guidelines and that you are appropriately covered, not in potentially dangerous layers or lengths, and not wearing offensive language or images. I reached out to a Cast Member for some additional clarification, but they just advised that guests be prepared to return an item to their car or bring a change of clothes if their attire is not accepted.
I visited Disneyland Resort last December and it was much colder than I experienced on previous visits. My advice would be to dress in layers for climate comfort and also so you can easily remove the onesie if not considered acceptable. No one wants to be caught in the esplanade in their un-birthday suit if you catch my drift.
Locker rentals are available in
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as well as in the esplanade between both entrances. They make the perfect place to stash a change of clothes, an umbrella, or any souvenirs purchased throughout your day. Plus, the fewer things you have to carry the easier it will be to eat a DOLE Whip or a Mickey Gingerbread. Hot tip- place a
Mobile Order for these iconic holiday cookies at
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe early in the day as they tend to sell out quickly!
I'm sorry I couldn't give you a more concrete answer but I hope this helps prepare you for your upcoming magical visit. If we can offer any additional assistance or recommendations please don't hesitate to come back to see us again.
Magic and memories,
Amy
