Welcome aboard, Lindsey! You must be getting ready to travel with your family on a magical sailing with
Disney Cruise Line! You're certainly in for an amazing vacation because Disney makes it so easy for families to
travel with little ones!
Guests are welcome to bring their own
strollers onboard, and yes, I'd recommend an umbrella stroller if you bring your own, because it folds away and stores under your bed or in the closet so much easier than larger strollers in your stateroom. Did you know that the ships also have strollers available for guests to use while they're sailing? These are complementary to borrow onboard on a first come, first served basis at
Guest Services. When I've checked on them, I've seen the full size Peg Perego type strollers, just to give you an idea of what to expect, though that's always subject to change.
At
Castaway Cay, if your itinerary includes a stop there, you'll find complimentary strollers (the jogging type, so they go around the island easily!), and wagons available for guest use. You'll find these at the Pelican Plunge tram stop. It's so convenient to be able to load up a wagon with the things your young family needs for the day, or borrow a sturdy stroller for exploring the island.
I hope those details help as you continue to plan your sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew, Lindsey! Please stop back with any other questions you may have before you set sail. We're happy to help!
