Hello. Am I allowed to sign up for the Deluxe Dining Plan for half of my trip and then do the regular Dining Plan for the remainder? I have always wanted to try the Deluxe but am uncertain if it is just too much food.

    Hi Shannon,

Greetings from the Show Me state.  I'm always happy when I can help a fellow Missourian with planning their Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

While your plan is a good one to split up the dining plan types, the friendly folks at Disney Dining have advised that this is not possible.  You will have to choose one plan for your entire length of stay.

From my experience, I think there is too much food with the standard Dining Plan.  We typically have uneaten snacks and desserts at the end of our trip.  That's not saying that your experience will be the same, but I just wanted to share my opinion.  If your family likes to sit down for three full meals a day, then the Deluxe Dining Plan may be for you.  You will be the best judge of what will be optimal for your family.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

    Happy Planning,
