Welcome Bianca,
Your
Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the riverbend, how exciting! The exchange of gifts among Guests through a hanging container outside their stateroom, often referred to as Fish Extenders, is a popular cruising tradition. I understand wanting to bring something that travels well but is also useful or reflects where you’re visiting from.
Liquor is not permitted to be brought onboard, according to the
prohibited items list. If it is found in your checked luggage during a security check it will be stowed for the duration of your cruise.
Please see this question I recently answered for a guest which details the different types of alcohol allowed to be brought on by Guests.
If you are asking about mini bottles of 70 percent isopropyl alcohol hand sanitizing solution, that is allowed onboard. This strength is aligned with the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendation for sanitizing. While Disney Cruise Line adheres to very strict cleaning processes, I always like to have my own hand wipes or sanitizer with me so that would be a thoughtful gift for other Guests. There is no limit in quantity to bringing these onboard as your gifts.
Be sure that anything you pack to gift is well wrapped to avoid spills inside your luggage on the journey, and that it aligns with your airline’s policy for liquids.
Please sail back with any other questions as you finalize your cruise details, Bianca!
Bon voyage,
Amy
