Are you allowed to bring sports balls on your cruise? It says sporting equipment is prohibited, but says nothing about balls. We would think it would be nice to have on the beach.

Welcome aboard, Bretton! You must have a magical vacation with Disney Cruise Line coming up soon! You must be getting excited!

Castaway Cay offers so many fun activities and events for the whole family, and this includes sporting options. Guests are not allowed to bring their own sporting equipment, including balls, as those can interfere with other guests on the beach. The good news is that there are dedicated sport spaces throughout Castaway Cay where you can play the day away!

Sports Beach on Castaway Cay offers fun sports like volleyball and tetherball. Basketball, mini-golf, and wiffleball, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and oversized board games like checkers and Connect Four, are all available at In Da Shade Games and Grouper Game Pavilion. I promise you won't lack for sporty things to enjoy throughout your visit to Castaway Cay, Bretton. Disney really does think of everything!

Be sure to check out your Personal Navigator for Castaway Cay Day. This schedule of events and activities lists everything you'll need to know before you get off the ship that day, and will include a map of the island so you can find your way around.

    Have fun planning, Bretton!
