Waving hello to you Jason!
How exciting your magical
Disney Cruise Line sailing is only a few more weeks away. If you're anything like me, you likely started packing weeks ago. I love to make a list and check it twice (or thrice) to ensure I don't leave anything behind when it's time to set sail.
I'm happy to report that you can certainly bring aerosol sunscreen on board. In fact, I packed both a liquid and spray sunscreen in my carry-on bag just last week so we were ready to hit the pool deck as soon as we boarded the ship. I double-checked with a Cast Member who let me know that aerosol bug spray is also permitted.
Unfortunately, the Cast Member did not advise bringing an aerosol air freshener along for your vacation. This is more of a courtesy issue as sprayable air fresheners can travel into other staterooms and some guests may be allergic. Keep in mind that prohibited items can be seized from your luggage and will be stored for retrieval at the end of your cruise. Ultimately, it will be up to the discretion of the security team at the port. You can review a
list of prohibited items to make sure anything else you plan to pack meets the requirements.
I hope this helps Jason. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to sail on back to us here at planDisney. We'd be happy to help.
In the meantime, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as you await your trip. You'll be able to count down to embarkation day and be ready to take advantage of the daily activity schedules, deck plans, and chat feature as soon as you board the ship.
Wishing you a most magical sailing!
Amy
