Are you allowed to bring prepackaged foods off the ship at Port Canaveral to have for the day at WDW?

    Welcome aboard, Amy!

Ooh, what a magical trip you have in store! Both a Disney Cruise Line sailing and a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! That's my favorite type of Disney vacation!

Whether you're sailing on the Dream or Fantasy and then heading to spend some time at Walt Disney World after you disembark, or you're on the Magic for an exciting sailing that includes a port stop at Port Canaveral with a visit to Walt Disney World for the day before continuing on with your cruise, you'll have a wonderful time!

If you bring your own prepackaged (and unopened) snacks onboard the ship, then yes, you may bring those off the ship in the different ports of call. It's a great idea to pack some snacks to enjoy throughout the day at the Disney Parks. My park bag is always stocked with snacks so that when we find ourselves waiting in a longer line, I can bring those out to keep the kids busy and happy until it's our turn to ride!

Please know that foods other than prepackaged unopened foods may not be brought off of the ship, as you can incur heavy fines with Customs if you do so, Amy.

Have fun planning your cruise, and please swing by with any other questions you might have. We're happy to help!
