Am I allowed to bring in my lightsaber that is from disney? To ellaborate, I bought one of disneys lightsabers online and it was made by disney, am I allowed to now bring that saber into the park because it is a disney licensed product?

Bright suns, Braiden! Welcome to planDisney!

There are rules about what you may bring into the Walt Disney World theme parks, but you'll be very happy to know that if you would like to snag that selfie at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, lightsaber in hand, you are welcome to do so. As long as your lightsaber isn't the real deal, which would make it prohibited from being brought into the parks, you may bring it in with you.

Just a tip from a pro, Braiden - and by pro, I mean from a mom who has had to hold or carry more things for their kids than I can remember. If your lightsaber is retractable, you'll want to try to keep it retracted when you can. You'll have to be able to stow your lightsaber when you are riding any of the rides, so the smaller you can make it, the better.

You may want to find the Disney PhotoPass Photographers in Disney's Hollywood Studios to capture some truly spectacular pictures in Batuu. There are so many amazing photo spots, especially if you'll have equipment that looks like it belongs.

If you need us for anything else prior to your visit, Braiden, come on back and see us. 'Til the spires!
