Hiya, Ariana!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney! One of my favorite hobbies is documenting the magical memories I make at the Disneyland Resort. Visiting during
Halloween Time is even better because there are many more opportunities to capture cool shots. I’d be happy to help clarify this for you!
According to Disneyland’s
park rules, you can bring a tripod or monopod that fits inside a standard backpack and doesn’t extend beyond 6 feet (182 cm). Selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles are not allowed into the parks, no matter the length.
Please keep in mind that this policy is subject to change at any time, and ultimately, Cast Members reserve the right to prohibit any item at their discretion.
When using your tripod, avoid setting it up in crowded walkways, during parades or shows, and in ride queues. I recommend using it for static shots and low-profile shots that could not potentially be disruptive to other Guests.
Bonus Tip: Check out the full
seasonal guide to Halloween on the Disney Parks Blog! Reviewing guides like these helps me plan out my itinerary and shot list before I head to the parks.
Ariana, I hope this information was helpful as you gear up for your next adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth! You are always welcome to visit us again here at planDisney if you have any additional questions.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
