Welcome back, Carolyn! It's almost time to set sail on the Wonder for your Alaskan adventure! Do you have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on your mobile devices yet? If not, download it today. You'll use it all the time onboard the view the maps, schedules of activities, menus, onboard texting and more. But, what my 11 year-old daughter is most excited about right now is the count down that you can use before you set sail. She checks the app on her iPod every day to see how many days are left until our cruise this fall. Your daughter will probably love to see those days counting down too!
My family and I enjoy playing board games in the
Promenade Lounge on the Disney Wonder. They're also available in
Crown & Fin Pub, which is for adults only in the evenings, but fine for kids during the day. I do remember seeing Dominoes the last time we were on the Wonder, in the Promenade Lounge, though if I were you, I would bring my own set anyway. Those pieces can wander off or the game itself may no longer be there since so many guests borrow and play those games. Plus, when we bring some of our own card games, my family and I love to play at the tables by the pool. You may surprise your daughter and mom with a new Disney-themed set of Dominoes to use during the cruise. For less than ten dollars, I've seen some fun Frozen-themed Dominoes on Amazon, as well as Disney princess, Cars, Finding Dory, and Marvel Dominoes. Especially on the Wonder in Alaska, the Frozen set seems to fit, don't you think? You'll be in the Great North, and you'll be enjoying
Frozen, A Musical Spectacular in the Walt Disney Theatre one night, which is completely amazing, by the way!
Have so much fun, Carolyn!
