We are going on the Alaska cruise on Wonder July 7, 2014. My 5 year old daughter has been asking if Elsa and Anna will be on the cruise since there will be snow. Is there any way to find out which princesses will be onboard?

Welcome aboard, Megan! It is so exciting that your family will be heading to the great north this summer to experience one of Disney Cruise Line's most unique cruise itineraries! There are so many extra activities and events that are only offered onboard the Alaskan sailings, your whole family is in for a lot of fun!

Currently, Princess Anna has been sailing on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. It would be a wonderful addition to see her on the Alaskan sailings on the Disney Wonder, but she has not been on the Wonder recently. Characters are always subject to change, however, so you never know! She'd obviously fit in well in Alaska, wouldn't she? Since the Wonder is currently heading through the Panama Canal on its way to the West Coast, it hasn't even headed out on its first Alaskan sailing for this year yet, so we will have to wait and see!

Either way, there will be plenty of other princesses onboard, and you'll even experience a Princess Gathering one day when four or five Disney princesses gather in the atrium lobby of the ship to greet guests and take photos. The line gets very long, so I'd suggest you show up and hold a place in line about an hour before it begins. You'll be up toward the front of the line at that point, and you can sit down and use that time to write postcards. Then, when the princesses arrive, you'll only have to wait a few minutes to meet them. Much better than arriving later and having to inch your way along in line for an hour! The Princess Gathering is the only meet and greet that will have a line that long though! So, plenty of time to meet a princess or two throughout your sailing!

Have fun planning, and be sure to check out my fellow Disney Cruise Mom Nancy's Alaskan videos for some sneak peeks and great tips! Happy sailing!
