Ahoy, Trish!
Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's our pleasure assisting you with all your questions about your upcoming Disney vacation.
Silhouette portraits are a wonderful souvenir and such a memorable keepsake that is offered at both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. At this time, Disney Cruise Line does not offer portraits, but hopefully one of the locations in either Florida or California will work for you. If you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find two spots in Magic Kingdom. You'll find a cart just off Main Street U.S.A. on the right between Crystal Arts and Uptown Jewelers. The second location is in Liberty Square behind the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. If you are visiting Epcot, you'll want to stop by France because there is a cart there that offers the portraits, which is fitting since this intricate craft originated there in the 1700s.
Disney Springs also offers a cart if you're not visiting the theme parks, and you'll find it in the Marketplace next to the Ghirardelli® Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop.
Trish, the Disneyland Resort has a
Silhouette Studio on Main Street, U.S.A. located between Crystal Arts and China Closet. It actually opened one day after the official park opening in July of 1955! I hope you'll be visiting one of these spots in the near future to have one of these hand-cut portraits made. The prices are very reasonable, and you'll be amazed at how quickly they are created by the artist. Frames are available for purchase as well!
Thank you again for sending in your questions, Trish! Please keep us posted if we can provide further help with your magical plans.
